Glacier looking for a volunteer(s)

Post by elscout198 »

Too late for me as ROMO is in my summer plans but if your interested go to Volunteer.gov and read about this. You can get a campsite too.

Astronomy assistant volunteers will assist park staff and other astronomy volunteers with setting up, taking down and monitoring the telescopes for the night sky astronomy programs offered during the summer months. Volunteers will provide general information and informal interpretation to visitors about the night sky which will help visitors understand the importance of the dark sky in Glacier National Park. They will also provide safety information to visitors. Volunteer will also assist with the solar viewing sessions in the afternoons

HOUSING & AMENITIES
Type: Trailer/RV Pads
Description: A bedroom in government housing and/or a RV space outside the park may be provided for this volunteer position

This guy could be a perfect "volunteer" for the Astronomy job, a Northern Stargazer...except Northern Stargazers live in the Chesapeake Bay. 8)
