Glacier Chatters in GNPF Newletter

Postby llholmes1948 » Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:50 am

It looks to me like a few Chatters put in an appearance on the Glacier National Park Fund hike to Hucleberry Lookout according to a photo in the Spring 2010 Newsletter.

Kathy and Farmgirl,

Sorry, I don't have a link.

Maybe someone else has the link.

It looks like a very sunny day. Why aren't you wearing your sunglasses? 8)

Did anyone notice the other article in that brochure that reported the GNP fund is contributing to the refurbishment of the Heaven's Peak Lookout? I'm not happy that they are using donation money for this project. Since there is no trail going to the lookout and no plan for a trail, it is a complete waste of the donations.

Yes Paul,

It has been mentioned on the chat a couple of times. If you have concerns about it, I would please ask that you or anyone else, please address directly to the Foundation, that way you can get your questions answered from the horses mouth and quite a bit quicker than you would on the chat.

Thanks.

I loved that hike...I'd been wanting to do it ever since my first trip to Glacier way back in the early 90's. Fun day!
