The big Winter Storm that wasn't.
No wind or snow in WF as of 0730 this morning.

Same here. Weather.com indicated no snow, yet there was a NWS winter weather warning that predicted up to 6". Not so much as one snowflake.

The commute would have been pretty interesting had it come to fruition. As it is, Star Meadows isn't plowed over the weekend, so there was 6"-8" of snow on the road that had been pushed around by traffic. The front tires want to go all over the place going in and out of that stuff.

Just saw this, too:

... WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON... ... WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED... THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MISSOULA HAS CANCELLED THE WINTER STORM WARNING. * IMPACTS/TIMING: THE ARCTIC FRONT HAS BEEN SLOW TO MOVE OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE AND AS A RESULT, THE WARNING HAS BEEN DOWNGRADED TO A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY. WE ARE STILL EXPECTING THE ARCTIC TO IMPACT THE FLATHEAD VALLEY LATER THIS MORNING. EXPECT OCCASIONAL MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW, WHICH MAY CAUSE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS AT TIMES. * SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: ADDITIONAL 2 TO 4 INCHES WITH THE FRONTAL PASSAGE LATER THIS MORNING. BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. * WINDS: NORTH TO EAST WINDS OF 15 TO 30 MPH WINDS WILL CAUSE WIND CHILLS TO BE BELOW ZERO. FREQUENT GUSTS TO 40 MPH POSSIBLE ALONG US-2 AND THROUGH BAD ROCK CANYON.
