Mount St. Nicholas

Postby llholmes1948 » Fri Jan 03, 2020 8:31 am

A recent Yesterdays column in the Hungry Horse News noted that Rev. Conrad Wellen in July 1926 was the first person to climb Mount St. Nicholas.

The Reverend must have been quite a guy as is our own Ear Mountain who has also climbed Mount St. Nicholas. Quite a remarkable feat! Congratulations again, Ralph!

Thanks Lyman. A lot of "sucking it up" took place on my three attempts (only one successful) on St. Nicholas.
