Re: September 2020

I really enjoyed reading your trip report. I think we'll wait until the road work on the East side opens before we return. I've always wanted to get a stay at Sperry, but never have. It sounds fantastic!

Re: Birthday Present 2017

Wonderful trip report! Reading it made my day! We used permethrin for the first time this summer (in the Winds) and it worked amazingly! We tested it dayhiking before our backpacking trip - wearing the permethrined clothes on one dayhike, and not the next day on another hike. The stuff works. Fun to...

Re: Big fee increases may be in the future...

FWIW my husband and I turned 62 and purchased our senior passes early this summer. Hubby lost his entire wallet (with pass) in Grand Teton in July. He went in to replace it - and no dice. They do not keep records and re-issue lost passes. You have to purchase an entirely new pass. Guard them ...

Re: GNP Chat?

Guilty as charged. When I started to reply - I had to log in - and couldn't remember my username - ouch! I used to check it out a couple of times a week, but have been pretty much absent the last few years due to health issues with my parents and in-laws, it is that season of life for us. The last f...

Re: Camp chairs

We prefer the good old fashioned aluminum folding chairs with webbing. They are lightweight with good back support, but hard to find these days. They can be ordered from Lawn Chair USA or found on EBAY. We pair them with cheapo plastic "ottomans" which also double as side tables and stack ...

If a chatter takes a selfie in Whitefish, and no one sees it, is it still visible? We'll never know, because it WAS seen. Incredible.

I can tell from your comments, as well as those from others who met them, that your father was a person who lived a full, adventurous life and had one of those "larger than life" personalities. It is truly a blessing to have a father like that, and my thoughts and prayers will be with you ...

Foot shots have been surpassed and will fade into oblivion. BTW, the flask is MUCH classier than the Burger King Milk Bottle I use. On the other hand, no one ever asks for a sip of my "milk".....
