Arc’teyrx outlet has extra 20% off. I still can’t justify the price, but some good ‘deals’ in there on a percentage basis for someone in the market: beta and others over 50% off.
There is always the option for 'day prior' tickets at 7 PM MDT. So I did some digging to look at the quotas similar to what I did for front country campsites. I found interesting results, but not helpful yet for your situation as it appears 'day prior' hasn't been loaded yet. It looks like they're f...
I'm always on the hunt, so I figure I'll share what I see that isn't boilerplate 20% off. Outdoor research 50% off with code MSW2024 . Guessing this was an error or inadvertently posted, so be quick! I snagged a foray gore-tex rain jacket as my 15 year old Backcountry branded eVent finally bit the b...
Welcome! What is your itinerary? There are multiple ways to enter the belly :) I assume you’re referring to Chief Mountain Customs for the trailhead - I believe there is a shuttle that goes there from Waterton (chief mountain connector) as well as anywhere on the east side (backpacker ferry). I beli...

The CDT community will be in an uproar.
Excellent point and one I hadn’t considered. I guess they can just ‘hiker/biker’ then go 33 miles to St Mary? As with many changes the last couple years I’m sure good intentions but really shortsighted.
I’ve only had one hit to date (results in thread), and Rec.gov didn’t register (others did) . A couple weeks later I did have a (suspected phantom) alert from Rec.gov and none of the others.
So it looks like they’ve locked out viewing availability unless you had a successful lottery application. Not sure if that also includes if you check before your scheduled time. Working on a solution. I'll be glad to check your route for you. I have an April 21 date in the lottery. I have logged on...

Paul, I suspect at least some Backpackers would be interested if there was a "clearing house" for unused intineraries. Stubhubis an example of a similar concept. I smell opportunity! zoezeppelin (and perhaps others) is probably already working on it. HA! Best regards, Scott Hah, thinking ...
Orin, yes can’t have your cake and eat it too! While I missed out on the easy option, I had an advantage last year with accessibility, fast internet, knowing what I wanted, etc. This way is more fair, similar to the original process, and hopefully some people who were unable to succeed in a free-for...
Agreed Scott and Paul - I didn’t even have an ‘unsuccessful’ option at first because I assumed there would be plenty based on past application numbers.
I asked the NPS and they said around 7000 applications ?!
That seems about right with 3000 available and 50% miss rate from our poll.
