Good news! We got the permit email this afternoon.

Don't lose hope. I don't think they notify applicants for a few days after the permit was given.

At this point I'm just going to wait and see. Looking at the BC site status will drive me crazy.

After looking at the available BC campsites it doesn't look promising for my first choice.

I pretty much say what everyone is saying here. I've been going to the park yearly since 1998. There's always something that draws me back each year. There's so much to explore and so many experiences to be had. I have trouble coming up with a better alternative vacation than going to Glacier Nation...
