i think only if you are inside GTTSR. don't think it counts if you're at MGH.

Does it require a ticketed entry to get to the Apgar transit Center?
If I just want to park at Apgar and ride the Shuttle Bus, is that possible without a ticketed Entry?

Maybe if you have managed to score a ticket in the shuttle lottery they will let you in to use it. Or maybe not.

If your reservation requires entering at St Mary or West Glacier, THEN you do not need a ticket.
Your reservation paperwork will serve as your "ticket".
If your reservation is in Many Glacier, then you will need a "ticket" to enter the park at West Glacier, St Mary, or Camas Rd.

That is my understanding of how it works.

My understand is yes, you will need a ticket to get to the Apgar Visitor center.
And you need to have it in advance. Tickets are sold on line at rec.gov
You can't drive up to the gate and get a ticket.

That said, if you arrive before 6AM you won't need a ticket at the gate, BUT....
You will need a ticket to ride the shuttle--purchased in advance from rec.com

That is my understanding of how the system works.
