Thanks for posting the info and link.
Jeff Mow was superintendent during one of the most difficult periods for Glacier NP. Responsive to the public, candid in his statements.
(Nice to see Doug Follett in the photo as well.)
It was Stephen Jay Gould who popularized the concept of punctuated equilibrium - he even wrote a book with that title.
I am unsure why Yo-Yo Ma's name should have come up.

I didn't realize he wasn't overseeing the park this year - most of the newspaper quotes seemed to come from him (or Gina, which I assumed was from him). Certainly couldn't have been easy the last decade, and especially these last two years.

Looks like we also will have a new director for the NPS: link.

Hopefully the new people bring new ideas on how to continue to progress in the changing times.
