So despite a time stamp of 10:22 AM I got a permit. Unfortunately due to some life circumstances that occurred after I applied I may not be able to go. Its still unclear at this time but if anyone who is already planning on being there the week below wants to PM me, I could try and coordinate when I cancel the reservation with you. I'm not sure when I'll know for certain if I can or cannot go either.

Does anyone know if the permitting process is over? I received word that one permit was denied but it did not say which dates were denied. I had two separate applications.
You still have hope// it is technically not "over" until the end of the season, and i believe the Park indicated at least May 15th for processing just the first day's worth of applications which means it could easily take longer than that.

I would call the backcountry office and ask: (406) 888-7857
Regarding the question as to if the initial Backcountry Advance Reservations process had been completed.
I don't know if this "clue" is significant or not but...
The Advance Reservation Availability Link on Glacier's Backcountry Advance Reservation Page is "live" again. The practice seems to be to "break" this link when the Backcountry staff starts the process of processing the initial Advance Reservations Applications.

So will not be using this permit. I did have someone else reach out about it but that person is no longer responding. I'll give it a couple days if anyone on the board would like to try and coordinate my cancellation and your application, if not will be cancelling late this week.
