This is one of the great "traverse" hikes in Glacier Park. Click on the link to access the blog and photo tour.

Great report. You certainly took a different path than I did (you went high out of Hidden Lake). It made me a little nervous to see your friend standing on the edge of the crevasse.

I'd like to do the hike again, but I don't think I'd do it solo.

Beyond excellent, WAY beyond!!!! Thanks so much for that "tour".
I'll have some questions later that I'll put on the appropriate slide.
Thanks again!

Jay, I'd give my left one to do Floral Park. 8)
Unfortunately, I just don't have the stamina to do it as a day hike.
Doing that 9 miles of downhill would just kill me after traversing all that rough country getting to Comeau Pass
I'd have to spend the night at Sperry Chalet or the CG. Then walk down to Lake McDonald the following day.
Would you do it that way?

Pete,

That would be a great way to do it. It was interesting to see the chalet as well (from a distance). I'd like to see it when it's done. -Rod

I agree with Pete. That was 'beyond excellent"!! If there is one thing I would like to do most; this would be it!! :)
