Belton Chalet bought

Hi everyone, I am not sure how many of you know, but I was checking my e-mail and received an update from Glacier Park Collection. Seems like they bought the Belton Chalet. Here is a link to their press release:

I have never stayed there but in general I find that when a large company buys a small one things tend to deteriorate. Hopefully I am wrong. Anyhow, thought I'd share the info.

Looks to me like "Pursuit" is just the new name for Glacier Park Inc (GPI)...

Except more pretentious. I stayed at two different locations on my visit to Glacier, ate half a dozen meals at at least 3 different locations, and anything GPI was terrible. In case you think I might be expecting 5 star facilities, my frame of reference is Yellowstone, multiple restaurants, 2 lodging locations, Bryce, Zion, Grand Canyon North and South, Mesa Verde NP, Canyon de Chelle and maybe more.

I'd take GPI any day over Xanterra....
