Swift current/Rinsing Sun Sep 2-9ish - Any Cancellations?

Post by jamesdak »

Just on the off chance someone is canceling. I'm looking for at least 4 or 5 nights during the Sep 2-9 period. It's been 2 years since I've been there and I'm going batty, LOL!

Just tried to do a week in Yellowstone and left early due to the crowds. Reminded me why Glacier is soooooooooooooo much better. Well that and the scenery, trail access, quietness, etc, etc.

I don't mind either the cabins or motorlodge, I've stayed in both. Just something with it's on bathroom.

I'll keep calling Xanterra too just have been lucking out as of late.

I need my Glacier "Fix" really bad!

Thanks!
Jen

Don't be surprised to find record crowds in Glacier as well.

Yeah, I've been seeing the increased crowds for years now. I'm usually up and off before sunrise so I usually get hours of pretty much solitude on the trails. Plus I have my "secret" spots to find solitude there. And I expect Sept will not be as crowded as now.

The real kicker at Yellowstone was how noisy and inconsiderate people seemed to be at the Canyon Motor Lodge. It didn't start quieting down until after 11. Even in the cabins where their thin walls I've had luck with considerate neighbors every time.
