A couple of shots from July 2016

Post by ND »

Sunrise mist at Swiftcurrent Falls. When I first looked at this image the mist looked as though it had a large amount of noise(grainy, splotches etc...). While it certainly has some noise, most of it appears to be the rock wall showing through the light mist. IMO

Very nice Ken.
I like that Iceberg Lake shot a lot!
Gotta love those purple asters and red paintbrush together.

It took me a couple seconds to orient on that abstract, but nice. Moody. I also like the Iceberg shot. That last little rise to Iceberg is a nice vantage point, but I never seem to either see anything or come up with anything. Welly done.

Gorgeous photos.

Any chance that even a fraction of those wildflowers will be there the first 10 days of August? Just beautiful!

At a "guess", I would say yes. We have a lot of snow this year. That may translate to flowers being delayed somewhat.
Very hard to know for certain.

I sent you a PM showing flowers on dates around the first couple weeks in August,
I didn't want to bugger up Ken's thread with my stuff 8)
Barring something unusual, you'll be good in early August---imo

Thank you Pete -- they are all so gorgeous. Hard to believe we're less than 3 months away now, we're verry excited!
