We've had a very mild winter so far. No below zero stuff and quite a few 40 degree days. I just hope we don't pay for it this summer in the form of smoke.

Not been a hard winter at all this year, in the last two weeks, it has been above freezing almost every day, I only have about a foot of snow on the ground here at the house.

Most east side lakes are frozen but it has been a warm winter here too. We can get to good skiing but I've only plowed once and shoveled twice. Pretty darn nice with sunny warm days. Sometimes even the wind stops.

The big west side lakes definitely do not freeze over every winter. The lake may have ice at the head but you can't see that from the cam at he foot of the lake. This year has been mild and the lake may not freeze over completely unless we have an Arctic outbreak.
