Browning buried in snow

Post by llholmes1948 »

I understand East Glacier got 6 and a half feet of snow in February. I don't know if that has interfered with Bigfoot sightings there or not.

Here is an item from the Inter Lake with a photo of clearing Route 464, the Duck Lake Road north of Browning - not a good way to travel to Babb at the present time:

I work with a couple gals who grew up in Shelby and have friends in Browning.
They're having a rough winter. She showed me pics of US89 at the top of the hill going south out of St Mary.
MONSTER drifts up there. 50mph winds will do that with 6 feet of powdery snow.
One pic showed big snow blower working in what was a one lane "canyon" through the snow.

They mentioned in one article that the 30 day outlook is colder than average temps with above average precip.

If you draw a trend line through the black curve(this year) you'll see it tracks closely with the "Max" Blue curve.
All speculation at this point, but we could be in for a big snow year considering the data in the SNOTEL graph.
