Hey Guys and Girls,
I have a tent I don't need. It's a Sierra Designs Velox 3. It's a 3 person, 3 season tent. This is an awesome tent, but I'd rather have cash right now than an extra tent. I would call it brand new, except I set it up in my living room once. Oh yeah--it comes with the footprint. This tent is a literal 3-person tent, and a palace for 2 and their gear. Here's the specs:
Material: [Fly] 40D nylon; [Floor] 70D nylon
Freestanding: Yes
Poles: 2
Pole Material: DAC Featherlite NSL
Doors: 2
Clip / Sleeve: Clip
Floor Space: 70 x 88.5in (178 x 225cm), 42sq ft (3.9sq m)
Interior Height: 44.5in (113cm)
Vestibule Space: 9sq ft (0.8sq m) each
Ventilation: Mesh walls
Weight: 5lb (2278g)
The space to weight ratio is pretty darn good. I always use a 3-person tent with 2 people and their gear, and it's awesome.
This tent is about $350 new, not including the footprint. Also, this has one wall that is a single wall, so you could say it's a hybrid tent--part single wall, part double. I was thinking about selling the tent and the footprint for $225 including shipping. I don't know if it's kosher or not to let people make bids on this or what. If it's not, then my apologies. Otherwise, I would say you can one-up each other in 1$ increments. If you have any questions, ask away.
