YIKES!!!! I guess food is in the "mouth" of the beholder....what are your favorites in Apgar, near Rising Sun, Many Glacier & Lake McDonald?
Any reactions to AAA Guide on restaurants?

I would suggest that you review the various reviews on the Chat.

The places around Apgar and West Glacier are adequate but in general nothing to write home about. The Belton Chalet may be something to write home about as it seems to be a bit higher class but I have never eaten there.

When staying at Apgar or West Glacier, my preference, if I have time, would be to drive to Columbia Falls, Whitefish or Kalispell where there are a lot of good choices.

At Rising Sun, Many Glacier, Lake McDonald and Swiftcurrent you are basically a captive audience of the hotel company. At Rising Sun, Many Glacier or Swiftcurrent, if you choose not to dine in one of the hotel company facilities, you can drive to Babb/St. Mary where there are some additional but not abundant other choices.
