Hello. Hopefully you have figured out how to deal with your ailment. I too, have Planters. At night, after I have sat in the recliner for an hour or two watching TV, I would get up and have to limp just to walk it hurt so bad. When I step on an object with my heel and my foot rolls a bit, it feels like a knife going up through my heel. Anyhow, I went to the podiatrist and had an xray. I was told I have high arches. They gave me a pair (I bought) of special insoles (expensive.) Well, the heel was cupped and hurt my feet. I didn't use them. What I did do, was use the Dr. Scholl's foot machine and purchase a pair it picked out for me. I bought 3! I use them in all my shoes and to this day I am pain-free! It took a month or two to heal, but that was a few years ago. Hasn't bothered me again! Also, I am a letter carrier and am on my feet all day. Good luck...
