I notice that George Ostrom has an article in this week's Hungry Horse News about the late Danny On, a great supporter of Glacier Park and a great photographer. He was a person of great energy and great enthusiasm and he did live life to the fullest.

Danny once gave me a ride in his pickup truck (with a camper on back as it was allowed back then) from Lake McDonald Lodge to Logan Pass. It was one of the most frightening rides I have ever had!
