Not much of a big deal, but I just got some new hiking socks from Sportsman's Ski Haus (kalispell) called Feetures Hikers....just one pair, but I definitely will get more. So far they feel as good as or better than Smartwool, and are a bit cheaper. Mixture of bamboo (?!), merino wool, and some other stuff....feel great. feeturesbrand.com if you're so inclined.
