Friday, July 23....Red Gap Pass trail (Part 6)

You can see the trail as it leads up to the tunnel in this picture. Daniel said this was one of the longest stretches of trail he'd ever been on. The boys could see where they were going, but it seemed to take forever to get there.








That must be Elizabeth Lake tucked back in there.

The tunnel is just past that "little" snowfield.






At some time, someone put an awful lot of work into this trail.




Finally, a good view of the tunnel!

Dave and I were waiting for them....


I loved this view on the north end of the tunnel. The boys, however, were used to it by now... They weren't nearly as impressed.

Yup, that is Helen Lake....I loved the view of Helen as I made my way down from the tunnel, beautiful cirque....
