That would've made it tough! I put together a Gable Mountain page for the website Summitpost this past weekend, so I had a bit of an unfair advantage as I've been looking over a lot of photos of the area!

Anybody able to identify this backcountry lake?

It has a resemblance to a shot I took at Trout Lake, so I'll throw that out there.

Sorry guys, keep guessing. Not Trout or St. Mary. It's a rather small lake in the southern section of the park.
