Last week while we were in Glacier we only ate out for dinner three times since we had a kitchen in our rental house. We had pizza and burgers at Swiftcurrent Motor Inn. The pizza was good and the burger was okay. Huckleberry ice cream was great!
We ate at Leanin' Tree Cafe near Babb and Duck Lake for dinner. Their hamburgers and sweet potato fries were really good.
Finally, we got to try Johnson's in St. Mary. We had gone past the sign on previous trips, but this time decided to go for dinner. The place is so neat with it's decor and history. The waiters and waitresses are great too. The food was awesome! Some of us had the family style meal with barbecued chicken, baked potatoes, homemade soup, homemade bread, and cole slaw. Others had burgers and Zack's Bear Attack, all of which were amazing. We wanted huckleberry ice cream, and we did not know what we were getting in to. It's was a HUGE piece of ice cream pie, which was expensive, but so worth it for two people to share. The soup and bread were extra amazing too. Overall, great place and we wish we could have gone again for breakfast. Maybe next time...
